Let's face facts. Most of this game you're NOT going to be going up against high level guys... typically *you* will be the high level guy in the room, sometimes by ten, twenty, or fifty levels. The game hasn't been out but three weeks and there are people who top 150+ levels. What do you think that number will be in six months?

So a vast majority of your time spent wandering the wasteland will be spent killing small herds of bad guys who, individually, aren't much, but as a group can be a pain in the ass.

But wait, there's more.

Even at higher levels it does respectable damage against the absurdly bullet spongish enemies, and this is important *because Tesla Rifle Ammo is incredibly cheap, plentiful, virtually weightless and, more importantly, EFFICIENT*.

Your single Fusion Cell can translate into an entire group of dead enemies.

This single, efficient, cheap weapon replaces the pistol, explosive launchers, and quite possibly your melee. Hell, even it even works amazingly well with VATS (as in it doesn't break immersion).

And that's what makes the Tesla Rifle the G.R.O.A.T.
