Fanuc Robot Profibus Configuration
FANUC control systems support industry standard communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus/TCP, Profibus and ProfiNet. File transfers including part programs and setup information can be transferred with high-speed Ethernet and FTP protocols, as well as traditional serial communications. The FANUC robot interface. The Fanuc robot quipped with a Profinet communication card is a lot more expensive then the standard version that comes with TCP/IP. Would this be possible? I saw that the S7-1516 processor has the option of adding a communication processor that has Industrial Ethernet.

Hello AlexHook I have never set up an LR Mate, but usually all new Fanuc Robots have a similar configuration method for external communication. Please ensure that: - you have the correct GSD file for your device. - The System configuration on the Robot controller is set up correctly. ie channel, I/O range. |
